Scale Operator Job Overview – WI, MN, and IA Construction and Aggregate Jobs
The Scale Operator position includes weighing customer trucks as they enter / exit the facility and issuing proof of purchase, collecting payment and working with internal and external customers. The Scale Operator notifies operations of an incoming customer via a 2-way radio for proper dispatch and answers the telephone and provides general information to callers.
Scale Operators operate and maintain computerized scale system which includes opening of scales, update and maintenance of truck, customer and product information in computer.
